KPRC (AM)

KPRC is a talk radio station in Houston, Texas, branded as "AM 950 KPRC". It was started in 1925 and is the oldest surviving radio station in Houston. KPRC is owned by Clear Channel Communications. The station airs local shows including The Joe Pags Show, Micheal Garfield and Matt Patrick (who also hosts the KTRH Morning News). Syndicated programs include Glen Beck, Outlaw Dave and Dennis Miller. It occasionally airs news information featuring anchors from KPRC-TV.

Beaumont Place, Texas

Beaumont Place is an unincorporated area in east central Harris County, Texas, United States. It is located along Beaumont Highway and the Southern Pacific Railroad. It is 2 miles southwest of the Sheldon Reservoir. As of 2004, several houses in Beaumont Place had houses that discharged wastewater into ditches and shallow trenches. The For this reason the Texas Safe and Affordable Water and Wastewater Services (TSAWW) began to target Beaumont Place for improvements.

Dyersdale, Texas

Dyersdale is an unincorporated area in Harris County, Texas, United States. The name originates from Clement C. Dyer, one of the "Old Three Hundred" of Stephen F. Austin's colonists. A post office opened in 1913. In 1914 the community, with 250 residents, had a lumber company. The post office closed in 1917. An oilfield opened in the mid-1930s. In 1936 the community had scattered residences and a school. By 1946 the oilfield was still in production.
