Diana is an unincorporated community in Upshur County, Texas, United States. The community is North of Longview and South of Ore City on highway 259. The community of Diana is made up of many smaller communities. These are Ashland, James, Diana, Graceton, Stamps, Sand Hill, Valley View, and part of Snow Hill. The New Diana Independent School District serves area students. The district, located at the intersection of highways 154 and 259, was formed from local schools that were consolidated.

Lake O’ the Pines is a reservoir on Big Cypress Bayou, also known as Big Cypress Creek, chiefly in Marion County, Texas, USA. The reservoir also occupies a small part of Upshur and Morris Counties. The dam is located approximately 8.5 miles west of Jefferson.

Longview High School

Longview High School (colloquially known as LHS) is a public, co-educational 5A high school serving grades nine to twelve in Longview, Texas. The school serves as the secondary campus of the Longview Independent School District. The school was founded in 1874 as the Longview Male and Female Institute, and the first permanent structure was established in 1885. Longview High's colors are green and white and its mascot is the Lobo.
