Dish, Texas

DISH is a town in Denton County, Texas, United States. The town had a population of 201 at the 2010 census. This community, established in June 2000, was originally named Clark. In November 2005, the community accepted an offer to rename itself "DISH" as part of a commercial agreement with a satellite television company. The municipality was previously named after its founder, Landis Clark, who incorporated it in June 2000 and served as its first mayor.

Ponder, Texas

Ponder is a town in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,395 at the 2010 census. Local legend holds that Bonnie and Clyde either robbed the Ponder State Bank or attempted to rob it, only to discover it had gone broke the week before. However, this is not listed in the Barrow Gang's activities. The robbery in question may have been committed by the less famous but more successful Eddie Bentz.
