Lake Livingston

Lake Livingston is a reservoir located in the East Texas Piney Woods. Lake Livingston was built, and is owned and operated, by the Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA) under contract with the City of Houston for water supply purposes. The lake is one of the largest lakes constructed for water supply purposes located totally within the State of Texas. Only the Sam Rayburn Reservoir is larger.

Sebastopol, Texas

Sebastopol, Texas is an unincorporated community in Trinity County, Texas, located on Farm-to-Market Roads 355 and 356, fourteen miles southwest of Groveton. Although residents have said the population once reached 500, the population had decreased to around 120 by the 2000 census. A grocery and bait store still remain there today.
