Sachse High School is a public high school located in Sachse, Texas. Sachse High School enrolls students in grades 9-12 and is a part of the Garland Independent School District. The first graduating class was the Charter Class of 2005. In 2009, the school was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.

Sachse, Texas

Sachse is a city in Collin and Dallas counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is a northeastern suburb of Dallas. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 20,329. Northeast of Dallas, Sachse is approximately 1 mile north of the President George Bush Turnpike and Firewheel Town Center. Sachse is home to the 18-hole Woodbridge Golf Course, home of the Northern Texas Chapter of the PGA. Sachse was founded by William Sachse, a Prussian immigrant, in 1845.

Firewheel Town Center

Firewheel Town Center is a 1,004,000-square-foot open-air regional shopping mall in Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The mall is located on the northeast corner of President George Bush Turnpike and State Highway 78. The mall opened on October 7, 2005. Although "coming soon" signs first appeared in 1984, actual construction did not begin until early 2003. It was completed in 2005 and is owned by the Simon Property Group.

Rowlett High School

Rowlett High School is a public secondary school located in Rowlett, Texas. Rowlett High School enrolls students in grades 9-12 and is a part of the Garland Independent School District. The school opened in the fall of 1996 with Marlene Hammerle as principal. It is the second newest high school in the district. In 2005, Rowlett High School was recognized by Newsweek on their "Top 1,000 High Schools In The Nation" list, which is based on Advance Placement scores.
