Bishop Lynch High School

Bishop Lynch High School is a co-educational Catholic high school (grades 9-12) founded by the Dominican Order in east Dallas, Texas. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas. It opened in 1963 with 365 students and now has over 1,000 students. In keeping with its Dominican tradition, the school mascot is a Friar and the colors are black and white. It was designated a Blue Ribbon School by the Texas Department of Education in 1991 and 1998.

White Rock Lake is a reservoir located in east Dallas, Texas (United States). The lake was formed by damming White Rock Creek, which today widens into the lake before continuing south out of the spillway and emptying into the Trinity River. The lake covers 1,254 acres (5.1 km²) in the east Dallas community.

Amberton University

Amberton University is a private, non-profit university located in Garland, Texas, in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex of the United States of America. The main campus is adjacent to Interstate 635. Amberton is a private university that adheres to an Evangelical Christian philosophy. The school began as part of Abilene Christian University as an extension campus from 1971 until 1982, and was initially located in Mesquite, Texas, moving to Garland in 1974.

White Rock (DART station)

White Rock Station is a DART Light Rail station located in east Dallas, Texas at East Northwest Highway near West Lawther Drive. It opened on 24 September 2001 and is a station on the Blue Line, serving nearby White Rock Lake and its residences and businesses. This was a short term northeastern terminus of the Blue Line until it extended to LBJ/Skillman in May 2002.

Big Town Mall

Big Town Mall was a shopping mall located in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite, Texas. Constructed in 1959, it was the first enclosed, air-conditioned shopping mall in the Southwest. The last anchor tenant closed in 2001, and the mall was demolished in 2006.
