It has five major anchors and more than 170 stores and restaurants. It has 1,240,000 square feet (115,200 m²) of retail space. The mall was conceived in 1973 with construction completed in 1978. The first anchor tenants were Montgomery Ward, Sears and Joskes. Law/Kingdon was the original architect.
