Ace is an unincorporated community in Polk County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had an estimated population of 40 in 2000. Ace is located along FM 2610 in southern Polk County, approximately 75 miles northeast of Houston. Although it is unincorporated, Ace has a post office, with the ZIP code of 77326. Public education in the community is provided by the Livingston Independent School District.

Votaw, Texas

Votaw is an unincorporated community in northwestern Hardin County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community was named for Clark M. Votaw, assistant land commissioner of the Kirby Lumber Company and vice president of the Santa Fe Townsite Company, which laid out the town lots.
