Selden, Texas

Selden is an unincorporated community in south central Erath County, Texas, United States. Selden is located along Fm-913 between US Highway 281 and US Highway 67 around 9 miles south-southeast of Stephenville. The community was named after a man who owned a ranch nearby during the 1850s. A post office was granted for Selden in the 1890s and by 1900 Selden grew to near 100 residents. The post office had disbanded by 1915 after significant population fluctuations.

KTFW-FM is a country radio station focusing on serving the western half of the Fort Worth-Dallas, TX metroplex. It strongly emphasizes classic, traditional, and neotraditional country music. This station is owned and operated by LKCM Radio Group, along with its sister station, "95.9 The Ranch". Although its office is located in downtown Fort Worth, its transmitter is located in Glen Rose, Texas. KTFW also broadcasts FC Dallas Major League Soccer games, which were once aired on KFCD.
