Weatherford College

Weatherford College (WC; officially Weatherford College of the Parker County Junior College District) is a community college located in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, with branch campuses in nearby Decatur, Granbury and Mineral Wells. With an unbroken operating history as a two-year college going back to 1921 (and having operated continuously in some fashion since 1869), WC claims the title of the oldest community college in Texas.

Parker County, Texas

Parker County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 116,927. The county is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Parker County is named for Isaac Parker, a state legislator who introduced the bill that established the county in 1855. The seat of the county is Weatherford. The 1932 Republican gubernatorial nominee, Orville Bullington, was reared in Parker County.

Annetta North, Texas

Annetta North is a town in eastern Parker County, Texas, United States, on FM 5. The population was 718 at the 2010 census. The Town of Annetta North was incorporated on August 11, 1979, and Phyllis M. Studer was elected as its first mayor. The current mayor is Rob Watson. Annetta North is a small town that is mostly residential and farmland. There is only one church building, and the only other public places in the town are a car repair shop and riding arena.
