Westwater Canyon

Westwater Canyon is a canyon located on the Colorado River in Eastern Utah between the Utah/Colorado state line and Cisco, Utah. The inner gorge of the canyon is made up of black Precambrian rock and contains class III and IV rapids which are sought after by whitewater enthusiasts. The most notable rapid, called "Skull", is the most significant.

Cisco Oil Field

Cisco Oil Field is an oil field located in Grand County, Utah. The field was discovered in 1924 in the now abandoned town of Cisco, Utah. It is one of the oldest oil fields in the state of Utah. New production was discovered in the Cisco townsite during 2005 drilling by a Reno, Nevada-based oil company. The field produces from channel sands in the Mancos, Dakota and Morrison formations.

Cisco Springs Oil Field

The Cisco Springs Oil and Gas Field is located in Grand County, Utah at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|04|30|N|109|21|19|W|type:landmark_region:US_source:gnis |primary |name= }}. The field produces mostly natural gas from the Dakota and Morrison Formations at depths ranging from 1,200 feet to 2,200 feet .

Ruby Canyon

Ruby Canyon is a roughly 25 mile (40 km) long canyon on the Colorado River located on the Colorado-Utah border in the western United States, and is a popular destination for rafting. The canyon takes its name from the red sandstone cliffs which line the canyon walls. The only access to the canyon outside of rafting is provided by Union Pacific Railroad between Mack, Colorado, and Westwater, Utah.
