The Iron Mountain District, also known as the Iron Springs District, is a large, high-grade iron deposit in southwestern Utah, near Cedar City. It is currently owned and operated by Iron Bull Mining and Milling, a division of Palladon Ventures. Previous owners include Geneva Steel and U.S. Steel. The district is made of three primary topographic highs along a ~17 mile lineament: Iron Mountain to the southwest, Granite Mountain in the middle, and Three Peaks in the northwest.

Eccles Coliseum
Eccles Coliseum is an 8,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Cedar City, Utah. It is home to the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds track & field team and football team. The stadium also hosts the Utah Summer Games opening ceremonies and several events. The facility opened in 1967.

Thunderbird Park (Cedar City)
Thunderbird Park was a baseball venue in Cedar City, Utah, United States. It was home to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds baseball team. As part of the athletic program's move to the Big Sky Conference for the 2012-2013 season, Southern Utah's baseball program was discontinued. The venue had a capacity of 500 spectators. Following the 2012 season, the baseball venue was demolished, and the area was converted to a soccer field.
