Emerald Lake (Utah)

Emerald Lake is a small lake near the summit of Mount Timpanogos in Utah's Wasatch Range. It is northeast of the summit, at the base of the almost vertical northeast face of the mountain. The now mostly vanished and now buried Timpanogos Glacier left behind a terminal moraine which now impounds the lake. The runoff from the rock glacier feeds the lake and colors it blue.

American Fork Canyon

American Fork Canyon is a canyon located in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The canyon is famous for the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, which resides on its south side. It is named after the American Fork River which runs through the bottom of the canyon. The area is accessed by State Route 92, which is officially called the "Alpine Loop Scenic Backway.

Petersen Arboretum

Petersen Arboretum is an arboretum located in Petersen Park, Alpine, Utah, USA. It was established prior to 2003, when 150 additional trees were planted. Deer Creek Dam and Reservoir

The Deer Creek Dam and Reservoir hydroelectric facilities are located on the Provo River in western Wasatch County, about 16 miles northeast of Provo, Utah. The dam is a zoned earthfill structure 235 feet high with a crest length of 1,304 ft . The dam contains 2,810,000 cubic yards (2,150,000 m³) of material and forms a reservoir of 152,570 acre foot capacity. Construction of the project began in May 1938 and was completed in 1941.
