East Barre Dam
East Barre Dam (National ID # VT00053) is a dam in East Barre, Washington County, Vermont. The earthen dam was constructed between 1933 and 1935 under the supervision of the North Atlantic Division of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, with a height of 65 feet and 1460 feet long at its crest. The dam is a seasonal flood control structure to impound the Jail Branch River, a tributary of the Winooski River.

Robbins Nest Covered Bridge
The Robbins Nest Covered Bridge is a covered bridge that crosses the Jail Branch of the Winooski River off US Route 302 in Barre, Vermont. The bridge is of queen post design built by Robert R. Robbins. Even though not historic, the bridge was built as a replica to one that stood just downstream and was swept away in the Vermont Flood of 1927, and is of authentic design and construction.
