Blue Ridge Music Center
The Blue Ridge Music Center is part of the Blue Ridge Parkway system and is located at Milepost 213 near Galax, Virginia. Each summer it has a schedule of events related to a concert series. The center was planned when the town of Galax gave 1,000 acres for its development.

Lowgap is an unincorporated community in the Franklin Township of Surry County, North Carolina. Lowgap is named for the "low gap" the community is settled in among the Blue Ridge Mountains. The community has an elevation of 1,457 feet. Franklin Township, Surry County, North Carolina
