Carpenter Island
Carpenter Island is a man-made, backward letter L-shaped island and boat launch area on the Columbia River in the U.S. state of Washington. It lies on the Chelan County side of the river, across from Douglas County and is just downstream of Wells Dam. Carpenter Island is also known as Carpenter Island Boat Launch. It has a fish hatchery channel which is part of the Wells Dam and Hatchery. It is owned and operated by Douglas County Public Utility District.

Wells Dam
Wells Dam is a hydroelectric dam located on the Columbia River, downstream from the confluence of the Okanogan River, Methow River, and the Columbia River in Washington State. The dam, associated structures, and machinery make up the Wells Hydroelectric Project. It is owned and operated by Douglas County Public Utility District. It has produced electricity since August 22, 1967. Its operating license from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is next up for renewal in 2012.

Lake Pateros
Lake Pateros is a reservoir on the Columbia River in the U.S. state of Washington. It was created in 1967 with the construction of Wells Dam. The reservoir lies almost entirely in Douglas and Okanogan counties, although the dam itself lies partially in the easternmost portion of Chelan County. The reservoir stretches from there upstream to the Chief Joseph Dam. Towns on Lake Pateros include Pateros and Brewster, Washington.

Boulder Park
Boulder Park National Natural Landmark along with the nearby Natural Landmarks McNeil Canyon Haystack Rocks and Sims Corner Eskers and Kames comprise several of the best examples of Pleistocene ice stagnation landforms in Washington. Feature include numerous glacial erratics near and on the terminal moraine. Boulder Park is located on the Waterville Plateau of the Columbia Plateau in north central Washington state in the United States.
