Terra Alta, West Virginia

Terra Alta is a town and former coal town in Preston County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 1,477 at the 2010 census. Terra Alta was also in the running to be the county seat, but Kingwood, a town twelve miles away, surpassed it.

Southern Garrett High School

Southern Garrett High School is a public high school in Oakland, Maryland, that houses over 800 students from the Southern Garrett County vicinity.
