Battle of Mole Lake 1806 was a battle between Sioux and Chippewa warriors fought over ancient wild rice beds which exist to this day in Forest County north east Wisconsin, just south of Crandon in the community of Mole Lake, home to the Sokaogon Chippewa Community.

Mole Lake has an area of 4.160 square miles; 3.698 square miles of this is land, and 0.462 square miles is water. It is named after the Mole Lake tribe. The tribe's Mole Lake Casino is located in the community.
