Gebo, Wyoming

Gebo is a ghost town located in Hot Springs County in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It is located about 11 miles north of Thermopolis. The town was established as a coal town in 1907 alongside the nearby camps of Crosby and Kirby. It was named after Samuel Gebo who established the Owl Creek Coal Company and the first mine in the area after immigrating to America from Australia.

Winchester, Wyoming

Winchester is an unincorporated community in Washakie County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 60 at the 2000 census, when it was a census-designated place (CDP). The area is named for the post office established by postmaster and local rancher R. S. Winchester. Winchester objected to his name being used on the local railroad station, so the railroad named the station Chatham instead.
