Signal Mountain Trail

The Signal Mountain Trail is a 6.8-mile long roundtrip hiking trail in Grand Teton National Park in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The trail begins near Signal Mountain Lodge on Jackson Lake and provides hiking access to the summit of Signal Mountain. The trail passes through Lodgepole Pine forests most of the way and the view from the summit of Signal Mountain provide sweeping views of the entire Teton Range and much of Jackson Hole.

Signal Mountain (Wyoming)

Signal Mountain is an isolated summit standing 7,720 feet above sea level. The mountain is located in Grand Teton National Park in the U.S. state of Wyoming. The next closest higher summit is more than 10 miles distant, and this isolation provides sweeping views of the Teton Range, much of the northern Jackson Hole area as well as the Snake River. Though located adjacent to the Tetons, Signal Mountain was not formed in the same manner or period.

Elk Ranch Reservoir

Elk Ranch Reservoir is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming. Elk Ranch Reservoir is in the eastern section of the park and is impounded by the Uhl Dam, which is an 800-foot-long earth-filled dam constructed in the 1940s on land later acquired and incorporated into Grand Teton National Park.

Emma Matilda Lake

Emma Matilda Lake is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming. The lake is named after the wife of William O. Owen who was the first, along with three other climbers, to ascend to the summit of Grand Teton in 1898. The natural lake is 2.7 miles long and can be reached by way of a 1 mile (1.6 km) hike from a parking area at Two Ocean Lake or via a slightly longer hike from Jackson Lake Lodge.
