Pilot Butte Dam

Pilot Butte Dam (National ID # WY01381) is a dam in Fremont County, Wyoming. The earthen dam was constructed in 1926 by the United States Bureau of Reclamation, with a height of 64 feet, and a length of 55 feet at its crest. It provides offstream storage for flood control and irrigation water as part of the larger Riverton unit of the extensive Pick–Sloan Missouri Basin Program. The dam is owned by the Bureau, and operated by the local Midvale Irrigation District.

Wind River Indian Reservation

Wind River Indian Reservation is an Indian reservation shared by the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes of Native Americans in the central western portion of the U.S. state of Wyoming. It is the seventh-largest Indian reservation by area in the United States, encompassing a land area of 3,473.272 sq mi (8,995.733 km²), or land and water area of 3,532.010 sq mi (9,147.864 km²), encompassing just over one-third of Fremont County and over one-fifth of Hot Springs County.

Wyoming Indian High School

Wyoming Indian High School is located in Ethete, Wyoming, United States on the Wind River Reservation. It is part of Fremont County School District#14. Director Daniel Junge made a 2002 documentary film entitled Chiefs, chronicling life on the Wind River Reservation and the path of the school's basketball team to a state title. The film won the best documentary award at the Tribeca Film Festival.
