Bavet

Bavet is an international border gate belonging to Svay Rieng province, Cambodia. Its counterpart across the border is Moc Bai, Vietnam. Bavet belongs to one of the poorest provinces of Cambodia. Actually, its only economic resource is its position on NH1, on the straight way between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh. Bavet is one of the "special economic zones" (SEZ) of Cambodia and there were established textile industries and bicycles factories.

Parrot's Beak, Cambodia

Parrot’s Beak {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:11|02|15.3|N|106|00|35|E| | |name=Parrot’s Beak, Cambodia }} was the name given to a salient of Svay Rieng Province, southeast Cambodia that protrudes into Hậu Nghĩa and Kien Tuong Provinces, Vietnam, approximately 65 km northwest of Saigon. During the Vietnam War the Parrot’s Beak was a base and rest area for the North Vietnamese Army and the Vietcong and one of the terminus points of the Ho Chi Minh Trail/Sihanouk Trail.

Tay Ninh

Tây Ninh is a town in southwestern Vietnam. It is the capital of Tây Ninh province, which encompasses the town and much of the surrounding farmland. Tây Ninh is approximately 90 km to the northwest of Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam's largest city. As of 2003, the district had a population of 126,370. The district covers 137 km². The city is most famous for being the home of the Cao Đài religion, an indigenous Vietnamese faith that includes the teachings of the major world religions.
