Darwendale

Darwendale is a village in the province of Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. It is located about 62 km west of Harare. According to the 1982 Population Census, the village had a population of 3,264. The village grew from O.C. Zimmerman's farm which was pegged out in the 1890s to grow tobacco. Chromium is mined to the north of the village.

Trelawney, Zimbabwe

Trelawney is a village in the province of Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. It is located about 14 km south-west of Banket on the Harare-Chinhoyi railway line. Tobacco is grown in the region and there is a tobacco research station in Trelawney. Roses are also grown in the region, although they aren't as big as the Tobacco export, it is substantial.

Norton, Zimbabwe

Norton is a small town in the province of Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe close to Porta farm. It is located about 40 km west of Harare on the main road and railway line connecting Harare and Bulawayo. According to the 1982 Population Census, the town had a population of 12,360. This rose to 20, 405 in the 1992 census, and 44,054 in the 2002 census. The settlement began in 1914 when a railway siding was built.
