JZ Moyo High School
JZ Moyo High School (Jason Ziyaphapha Moyo High School), formerly Majoda School, is a government high school for girls and boys. It is located in the former Majoda Farm, approximately 12 km north of West Nicholson on the road to Filabusi and Mavako, in Matabeleland South province, Zimbabwe. JZ Moyo High is part of the ZIMFEP group of schools. The school started in 1982 mainly as a school for refugees and former freedom fighters.

West Nicholson
West Nicholson or Tshabezi is a village in the province of Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. It is located about halfway between Zimbabwe's second largest city, Bulawayo, and the border town to South Africa, Beitbridge, along the main road and rail link to South Africa. West Nicholson is named after Andy Nicholson, an early prospector who entered the country with the Pioneer Collumn and was responsible for mining exploration in the area.

Gwanda
Gwanda is a town in Zimbabwe. It is the capital of the province of Matabeleland South, one of the 10 administrative provinces in the country. The name Gwanda derives from that of a nearby hill known as Jahunda. Gwanda also refers to the rural district around the town. Towns and districts surrounding Gwanda include Mbalabala, West Nicholson, Filabusi, Esigodini and Matobo.

Gwanda State University
Gwanda State University is a future state higher education institution that is planned to open in Gwanda, Zimbabwe in 2012. The university shall be hosted by the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Polytechnic in Gwanda whilst construction takes place. It is planned that the university will start with two faculties, the Faulty of Mining Engineering and the Faculty of Agriculture, with a Faculty of Industrial Management to follow later.
