Jovan Vladimir

Jovan Vladimir or John Vladimir was the ruler of Duklja, the most powerful Serbian principality of the time, from around 1000 to 1016. He ruled during the protracted war between the Byzantine Empire and the First Bulgarian Empire. Vladimir was acknowledged as a pious, just, and peaceful ruler. Elbasan

Elbasan is a city in central Albania. It is located on the Shkumbin River in the District of Elbasan and the County of Elbasan, at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:41|06|N|20|04|E||| | |name= }}. It is one of the largest cities in Albania, with a population of 79,810. It was called Neokastron (New Castle) in Greek, Novigrad (new city) in Slavic and Terra Nuova in Italian.

Massacre of Cërrik

The Massacre of Cërrik (Albanian: Masakra e Cërrikut) was the killing of army officers of the Garda e Republikës in Cërrik during the 1997 rebellion in Albania. The attack was led by two Socialist Party members, the head of the Socialist Party in Cërrik, Llazar Bici, and the deputy leaders of the Socialist Party, Met Bozi.
