Gjadër Air Base

Gjadër Air Base is a military airport located in Gjadër, Lezhë County, Albania. It is north of the city of Lezhë and is also known as Lezhë-Zadrima Air Base. The Gjadër airfield is unique in Albania in being built near a mountain. It was built to allow aircraft after landing to go into a tunnel under the mountain. The tunnels have a capacity of storing about 50 aircraft plus personnel.

Franc Jozeph Island

Franz Jozeph Island (Albanian: Ishulli i Franc Jozefit), is an island located at the mouth of the Buna River in Albania. The island is made up of rich alluvial soil and becomes a peninsula depending on the size of the Bojana's flow. This island is an important nesting ground for many seabirds, especially the Ardeidae family. The island is low ground covered with a sandy seashore and dominated by alder trees. The trees are 75 years of age and reach a height of 16 m .

Ada Bojana

Ada Bojana is an island in the Ulcinj Municipality in Montenegro. The name Ada means island in Turkish language. The island is created by river delta of Bojana River. The legend says it was formed by gathering river sand around a ship sunk at the mouth of Bojana river, but it is more likely to be a delta in formation. It is located on the southernmost tip of Montenegro, with only the Bojana river separating it from Pulaj and Velipoje in the Albanian territory.

SM U-15 (Austria-Hungary)

SM U-15 or U-XV was a U-10-class submarine or U-boat of the Austro-Hungarian Navy (German: Kaiserliche und Königliche Kriegsmarine or K.u.K. Kriegsmarine) during World War I. U-15 was constructed in Germany and shipped by rail to Pola where she was assembled and launched in April 1915. She was commissioned in October 1915. U-15 was the most successful boat of the U-10 class, sinking six ships totaling more than 8,000 gross register tons (GRT).

Nymphaeum (Illyria)

Nymphaion or Nymphaeum (Greek: Νυμφαῖον or Νύμφαιον or Νυμφαίη) was an ancient Greek colony in Illyria. It was used as a harbour by the Syracusian colony of Lissus. It was located three miles away from Lissos. It was mentioned by Pliny the Elder (23 CE – 79), Lucanus (39 AD – 65 AD), Livy (59 BC – AD 17) and Julius Caesar (100 BC - 44 BC). It is now located at modern Shëngjin, Albania.
