Malësi e Madhe District

The Malësi e Madhe District (Albanian: Rrethi i Malësisë së Madhe) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Shkodër County. It has a population of 36,091 (2010 estimate), and an area of 555 km². It is in the north of the country, and its capital is Koplik.

Zeta Plain

Zeta Plain is a fertile lowland in Montenegro. It stretches from Podgorica in the north to the Skadar Lake in the south. It is the biggest plains area in Montenegro, with an average elevation around 40 m above sea level. The name "Zeta" derives from an early root meaning "harvest" or "grain" (modern words žetva and žito). Confusingly, Zeta River flows not through Zeta plain but through another significant valley in Montenegro, Bjelopavlići.

Podgorica Airbase

The Podgorica Airbase (also known as Golubovci Airbase) is an active airbase in Montenegro. The airbase facilities are shared with Montenegro's main international airport, Podgorica Airport. It is the main base of the air arm of the Military of Montenegro. During the Yugoslav era, it was the home to the 172nd Aviation Brigade of Yugoslav Air Force and its main flying training base for primary and basic pilot training.

Špiro Mugoša Airport

Špiro Mugoša Airport is a small airport near Montenegrin capital of Podgorica. It once served as city's only airport, mainly for military use, and withstood heavy bombing during Bombing of Podgorica in World War II. It was open officially with a paved runway in 1994, and it is one of the four Montenegrin airports to feature paved runway. Since Podgorica Airport was built, Špiro Mugoša Airport caters to needs of general aviation, as its 800 meters long runway cannot serve larger aircraft.
