Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island nation lying between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Holy Family Cathedral (St. John's)
Holy Family Cathedral is the main cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. John's-Basseterre and is located in the city of St. John's in Antigua and Barbuda. This cathedral holds the episcopal seat of the diocesan bishop Donald J. Reece. The cathedral was opened in January 1987. The design of the Cathedral is modern and it is an octagon with a tower at the centre. On the tower there is a large cross, the largest external church cross in the country.
