Charentsavan

Charentsavan (Armenian: Չարենցավան, also Romanized as Ch’arents’avan, Ch’arants’avan, Čarenc'avan, and Choentsavan; formerly named Lusavan until 1967) is a city located in the Kotayk Province (marz) of Armenia. Its population of 19,708 people at the 2001 census has since declined. The city was founded in 1948, and renamed in 1967 in honor of the poet Yeghishe Charents.

Bjni

Bjni is a village in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It is situated in a valley between canyon walls and a small river. Throughout Bjni's history, it has remained one of the main centers of education in Armenia. Some manuscripts from Bjni dated to the 12th to 17th centuries have survived. The first recorded mention of the village was by the 5th to 6th century chronicler and historian Ghazar Parpetsi.
