Hovk

Hovk (Armenian: Հովք, also Romanized as Hovk’ and Hovq; formerly, Aghkikhlu and Samed Vurghun between 1978-1991) is a town in the Tavush Province of Armenia. The town was renamed for a while in honor of Azeri poet and dramatist Samed Vurghun (1906-1956), winner of the Lenin Prize.

Haghartsin, Armenia

Haghartsin (Armenian: Հաղարծին, also Romanized as Haghardzin; until 1940, Dzharkhedzh, Dzharkhech or Zarkhej; until 1992, Kuybyshev or Kuybishev) is a town in the Tavush Province of Armenia. Haghartsin monastery is located near the town. In 1940, the town was renamed for the Soviet politician Valerian Kuybyshev.
