Barrington Tops State Conservation Area
Barrington Tops State Conservation Area is natural area in the Barrington Tops region of eastern Australia. It was previously known as the Polblue and Barrington Tops Crown Reserves. The park was created in January 2003. It covers an area of 8,446 hectares. Unlike the adjacent national park mining is allowed in a State Conservation Area. Zircon, sapphire and rubies were formed from the nearby Barrington Volcano in the Eocene epoch.

Brumlow Tops
Brumlow Tops is a hill on the Barrington Tops plateau. At 1586 metres above sea level it is the highest point in northern New South Wales. The surrounding area is covered by sub alpine Snow Gum woodland and high altitude swamps.

Burraga Swamp
Burraga Swamp is situated beside Mount Lumeah in the Barrington Tops area of eastern Australia. It is surrounded by Antarctic Beech cool temperate rainforest at an altitude of 985 metres above sea level. The swamp and surrounding forest was part of Chichester State Forest. However, in the 1980s the boundaries of the National Park were moved to include the area to the World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests of Australia.

Mount Royal (New South Wales)
Mount Royal is situated at the southern end of the Mount Royal Range in the Barrington Tops region of eastern Australia. It is part of the World Heritage Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. The lower sections of the mountain are made up of sedimentary rocks such as mudstones. A residual basalt cap appears at 1100 metres above sea level. It originated from the flow of the nearby Barrington Volcano. The mountain is partially in Mount Royal National Park and Barrington Tops National Park.
