Hampton, Queensland
Hampton is a town in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia 147 kilometres west of the state capital, Brisbane At the 2006 census, Hampton and the surrounding area had a population of 477. Situated at the top of an escarpment on the Great Dividing Range, Hampton is one of the small hamlets located along the New England Highway between Toowoomba, (29 kilometres away) and Crows Nest (12 kilometres).

Perseverance Dam
Perseverance Dam is the second largest, (in terms of storage capacity) and the second oldest dam of Toowoomba city's three water supply dams. The other two storages used for Toowoomba are Cooby Dam and Cressbrook Dam which is located located downstream of Perseverance. Construction of this dam commenced in 1962 and was completed in 1965. Perseverance dam is located approximately 35 km Northeast of Toowoomba on Perseverance Creek, which is a tributary of Cressbrook Creek.

Crows Nest is a town in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia. The town is located on the New England Highway, 158 kilometres from the state capital, Brisbane and 43 kilometres from the nearby city of Toowoomba. It is within the Toowoomba Region local government area. At the 2006 census, Crows Nest had a population of 1,443. Town facilities include a large pavilion for sports activities and other functions, showgrounds and a 25 m heated swimming pool.

Shire of Crows Nest
The Shire of Crows Nest was a local government area in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, Australia, immediately northeast of the regional city of Toowoomba. The shire, administered from the town of Crows Nest, covered an area of 1,629.9 square kilometres, and existed as a local government entity from 1913 until 2008, when it amalgamated with several other councils in the Toowoomba area to form the Toowoomba Region.

Crows Nest National Park
Crows Nest is a national park in Queensland, Australia, 40 km west of Esk and 6 km east of Crows Nest. The geology of the area is dominated by granites with domed outcrops. The vegetation in the park is mostly open eucalypt forest. Species such as the hoop pine, weeping bottlebrush, river she-oak and swamp mahogany can be found along creek banks. Crows Nest is known for its rugged landscape, waterfalls, and a sparkling gorge called Valley of Diamonds.
