Inverloch is a seaside village in Victoria, Australia. It is located on the Bass Highway 143 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, at the mouth of Anderson Inlet, in the Bass Coast Shire and is located close to Australia’s southernmost stand of mangroves. At the 2006 census, Inverloch had a population of 4,140.

Dinosaur Dreaming
Dinosaur Dreaming is a Palaeontological site situated near Inverloch, Victoria, Australia. Remains of primitive mammals from the Cretaceous Age were first uncovered there in 1997 by researchers from Museum Victoria and the Monash University Science Centre. The remains of early mammals, dinosaurs, and fossil bones of Cretaceous Age reptiles, birds, and fishes can be found at the Inverloch dig site.

Anderson Inlet
Anderson Inlet is a shallow and dynamic estuary in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia where the Tarwin River enters Bass Strait. It forms a 2,400 ha almost enclosed bay next to the town of Inverloch, for which it provides a popular and protected beach. At low tide its intertidal mudflats provide important feeding habitat for migratory waders. It is also an important area for recreational fishing. It is named after the Anderson brothers, the first Europeans to settle in the area.

Kirrak railway line
Kirrak was a railway branch line, it was built in the 1930s to service the Kirrak Coal mine located near the town of Wonthaggi, Australia. The branch line operated until 1968, the short section of line was closed after the closure of the mine. For a period after the closure, the Monash Railway club ran a 153hp Walker Railcar along the track.

Bunurong Marine National Park is a 21 km marine park along the coast of South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. About 5 km in length, it stretches from 2.5 km east of Cape Paterson eastwards to a point 6 km south-west of Inverloch, extending seawards for 3 nm to the limit of Victorian waters. It is named for the Bunurong Aboriginal people.
