Salt River (Western Australia)
Salt River is a saline river system in south-west Western Australia. It arises from a chain of salt lakes in the vicinity of Corrigin, flowing northward nearly to Bruce Rock then west and south-west past Quairading, before discharging into the Yenyening Lakes northeast of Brookton. These in turn discharge into the Avon River, which discharges into the Swan River estuary, which discharges into the Indian Ocean. It has a very low gradient, estimated at around 30 centimetres fall per kilometre.

Kellerberrin, Western Australia
Kellerberrin is a town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 205 kilometres east of Perth on the Great Eastern Highway. The railway line from Northam to Southern Cross was constructed through here in 1893-94, and this section opened for traffic in 1895. Kellerberrin was one of the original stations when the line opened. By 1898 there was a demand for small blocks of land in the area, and the government surveyed a number of 20-acre lots the same year.
