Gede railway station

It is the last station on the Sealdah-Gede section of Kolkata Suburban Railway system. Gede was one of the stations on the Sealdah-Goalundo route of East Bengal Railway. With the partition of India in 1947, it became a border town.

Darshana is a border railway station in Bangladesh, situated in Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga District, in Khulna Division. It is a rail transit point and a border checkpoint on the Bangladesh-India border. Darshana station came up with the Eastern Bengal Railway opening the line from Calcutta to Goalundo Ghat, in 1871. The Maitree Express passes through this station.
