Dyvin

Dyvin is a small town (formally a village) in Belarusian region of Polesia. Located on the southern bank of the Prypiat and at the Kobryn-Kovel road, it is close to the modern borders with Poland and Ukraine. First mentioned in 1466, around 1546 the village of Dyvin received city rights. Around that time the town had 184 houses, a market square and five streets in total. In 1642 king of Poland Władysław IV Vasa granted the burghers with Magdeburg Law.

Kortelisy

Kortelisy is a village in Ukraine which was destroyed on September 23, 1942 by Germany during the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union during World War II. Almost the entire population of 2,892 people were killed. The village had since been rebuilt. Less well-known are reports that the German Army destroyed a total of 459 villages in Ukraine, killing many or all of their residents.

Kobryn Raion

Kobryn Raion is an administrative subdivision, a raion of Brest Voblast, in Belarus. The regional center - the city of Kobrin. In the region of 162 localities belonging to the 13 rural councils. According to the 2009 census, the population of the district is 88 037 people, of which 51 166 people living in Kobrin, and the remaining 36 871 in rural areas.

Kobryn or Kobrin is a city in the Brest voblast of Belarus and the center of the Kobryn Raion. The city is located in the southwestern corner of Belarus where the Mukhavets River and Dnepr-Bug Canal meet. The city lies about 52 km east of the city of Brest. Kobryn is located at Latitude 52.12.58N and Longitude 24.21.59E. It is at an altitude of 485 feet. It is a station on the Brest – Homiel railway line. As of 1995, the population was around 51,500
