Stary Dzedzin

Stary ́ Dze ́dzin (also spelled Sta ́ry De ́din, also transliterated Old Dzedzin, Old Dedin; Belarusian: Стары ́ Дзе ́дзін; Russian: Ста ́рый Де ́дин) is a village in the Klimavichy rayon of the Mahilyow Voblast of Belarus. It is situated on the right bank of the Ostyor River (left tributary of the Sozh River), five kilometers from the state border with the Russian Federation.

Petrovichi

Petrovichi is a village in Shumyachsky District of Smolensk Oblast, Russia, located about 400 kilometers (250 miles) southwest of Moscow and 16 km east of the border between Belarus and Russia. It is the birthplace of Isaac Asimov. Asimov left at the age of three, with his parents and sister, emigrating to the United States.

Klimavichy

Klimavichy is a city in the eastern Belarusian Mahilyow Voblast. Klimavichy is located 124 km east of Mahilyow on the bank of Kalinica River and is the administrative center of the Klimavichy Raion since 1924. As of 2009, its population was 17,064. First references in historical documents are dated by 1581 in relation to Mścisław Voivodship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It was granted city status in 1777, and a Coat of Arms in 1781.
