Lassus Castle

Lassus Castle (French: Château de Lassus, or Hamoir-Lassus) is a château in Hamoir in the province of Liège, Belgium. The château, which stands on the banks of the Ourthe, was formerly the residence of the hereditary mayors of the village. The oldest part is a small donjon of the early 14th century. Long the property of the de Maillen family, the buildings were entirely remodelled in the 18th century in the Louis XIVth style.

Chefna

Chefna is a river of Belgium. It springs in Ville-au-bois and flows for 5 kilometres through the province of Liège, before debouching ino the Amblève. Around 1802, several farmers started looking for gold in the river and on the right bank the pits of a primitive goldmine can be found, although they have been mostly overgrown.

Bomal

Bomal is a village in the municipality of Durbuy, Belgium. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Ourthe and Aisne. It was previously a municipality until the fusion of municipalities in 1977. Bomal has a railway station which is on the line running between Liège and Marloie via Marche-en-Famenne. Along the line to the south-west is the station of Melreux-Hotton and to the north is the station of Sy.

Rouvreux

Rouvreux is part of the Walloon commune of Sprimont in the province of Liège in Belgium. It is named after the hamlet at its centre. It was a commune of its own from its creation on 21 May 1886 (by the merger of parts of the communes of Aywaille and Sprimont) until the merger of communes in 1977.
