Governador Island

Governador Island is the largest island in Guanabara Bay, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It has a population of about 500,000 inhabitants, in a small area of 42 km . Estádio Luso-Brasileiro

The Estádio Luso-Brasileiro, also known as Arena Petrobras, and Petrobras Lubrax Arena is a football stadium inaugurated on October 1, 1965 in Ilha do Governador neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro state, with a maximum capacity of 5,994 people. The stadium is owned by Associação Atlética Portuguesa and União de Marechal Hermes Futebol Clube. The stadium was also the home ground of Flamengo and Botafogo during the 2005 Campeonato Brasileiro.

Guanabara Bay

Guanabara Bay is an oceanic bay located in Southeast Brazil in the state of Rio de Janeiro. On its western shore lies the city of Rio de Janeiro and Duque de Caxias, and on its eastern shore the cities of Niterói and São Gonçalo. Four other municipalities surround the bay's shores. Guanabara Bay is the second largest bay in area in Brazil, at 412 square kilometres, with a perimeter of 143 kilometres . Guanabara Bay is 31 kilometres long and 28 kilometres wide at its maximum.

Rio–Niterói Bridge

President Costa e Silva Bridge, commonly known as the Rio-Niteroi Bridge, is a box girder bridge located at Guanabara Bay, in the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It connects the cities of Rio de Janeiro and the municipality of Niterói. It is currently the longest prestressed concrete bridge in the southern hemisphere, and the sixth longest in the world. From its completion in 1974 until 1985 it was the world's second-longest bridge, second only to Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.
