Queluz, São Paulo

Queluz is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2003 was 9,544, the density was 38.33/km² and the area is 249 km . The area to the northeast marks the boundaries with two other states, Minas Gerais to the north and Rio de Janeiro to the east. The city came from a village of Indians Puris in the year of 1800.

Pico dos Três Estados

Pico dos Três Estados ("Three States Peak") is a mountain peak at which the three Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo all meet. At an altitude of 2,665 metres, the peak is located within the Mantiqueira Mountains near Pedra da Mina and Pico das Agulhas Negras. At the exact point where the three borders meet, there is an iron tripod with the names of each state.

Resende Nuclear Fuel Factory

The Nuclear Fuel Factory (FCN){{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:22.504|S|44.646|W||||| | |name= }} is located near Resende, state of Rio de Janeiro, comprising three units, and has a production capacity of 280 tons of uranium per year. At present, FCN was modernized and produces at the Components and Assembly Unit the fuel rods and fuel elements needed for Brazilian nuclear reactors.

Pedra da Mina

Pedra da Mina is the highest mountain in both the Brazilian state of São Paulo and the Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range. It is located at the border with Minas Gerais state, leaving the status of highest mountain fully located within São Paulo to its fellow Serra da Mantiqueira mountain Pico dos Marins. Near the mountain, there is the Rio Claro spring, located at 2,500 metres above sea level, the highest river spring in Brazil.
