Jerudong Park

Jerudong Park is an amusement park in Brunei. It is the largest and most expensive amusement park in South East Asia, built and funded by the Bruneian government for $1 billion. It is notable that during its first few years of operation, Jerudong Park featured no admission fees and free rides. It is currently larger than phase 1 of Hong Kong Disneyland. The public only had to queue up for rides.

Gadong is an urban-suburb area in Brunei. Its population is around 45,000 (August 2010). Gadong is located in the central east of Brunei-Muara District It is only 5 km to Bandar Seri Begawan. Gadong is the largest metropolitan settlement area in Brunei and in Brunei-Muara District. It is an undisputed commercial centre for Bruneians young and old. Gadong bustles with activity day and night, especially on weekends. Brunei's only McDonald's outlet is also located at Gadong.

Berakas is a satellite town area in north Brunei. Population is estimated around 30,000 (2010). Berakas is located in the North East of Brunei-Muara District It is only 9 km to Bandar Seri Begawan. Berakas is one of the largest suburbs in Brunei. The main neighbourhoods are Kampong Serusop, Kampong Manggis Satu, Kampong Lambak A&B, Kampong Jaya Setia, Kampong Sungai Akar, Kampong Sungai Tilong and Kampong Madang.
