Kuala Balai is a mukim in the Belait district in Brunei. It is located in the west of the Belait District. It borders Mukim Seria to the north, Mukim Labi to the east and south, Sarawak, Malaysia to the west and Mukim Kuala Belait to the north-west.

Labi is a mukim in the Belait District of Brunei, an administrative area made up of several Kampongs. It is located at the centre of the Belait District to the south-west, bordering Mukim Liang to the north, Mukim Bukit Sawat to the north-east, Mukim Sukang to the east, Sarawak (Malaysia) to the south and west and Mukim Kuala Balai and Mukim Seria to the north-west. Seria
Seria is a town in the Belait District of Brunei Darussalam. Its full name is Pekan Seria (Pekan is the Malay word for "Town"). Seria was originally known as Padang Berawa which is Wild Pigeon's Field in Malay. The name "Seria" comes from the river located very near where oil was first discovered in the area in 1929. Official correspondence by the people that made the oil discovery stated that it was found in "Seria", and thus the name of the area became known as "Seria".
