Tsaratsovo

Тsaratsovo is a village in the Plovdiv Province, central Bulgaria. It is part of the Maritsa municipality and as of 2007 it has 2,216 inhabitants. In 2007 a several million euro electronics plant was inaugurated in Tsaratsovo. It has a built-up area of 3,000 m² and employs 80 workers. In the same year a new bicycle-producing factory was opened near the village. It has an area of 34,000 m² of which the built-up area is 23,600 m².

Radinovo

Radinovo is a village in the Maritsa municipality, Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria. As of 2006 the population is 720. There is a large plant producing refrigerators owned by Liebherr (1,150 workers), as well as a tobacco processings plant (2,000 workers) and several other industrial enterprises.

Sheker Mahala

Sheker Mahala is the second biggest Roma ghetto in Plovdiv. Its population is 10 000. Only 2 000 of them identify themselves as Roma, the rest identify themselves as people of Turkish origin. The district is in the northwestern outskirts of the town.

Plovdiv Stadium

Plovdiv Stadium (Bulgarian: Стадион „Пловдив“, старо наименование "9-ти септември"), formerly known as 9th September Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for athletics championships. The stadium holds 55,000. The stadium was built in 1950. The stadium initially had a capacity of about 30,000 spectators and had lights. Near the end of the 1980s a substantial renovation and expansion began, but was never finished due to the lack of funding.
