Ruse Province

Ruse Province (Bulgarian: Област Русе or Rusenska Oblast Bulgarian: Русенска област, former name Ruse okrug) is a province in northern Bulgaria, named after its main city - Ruse, neighbouring Romania via the Danube. It is divided into 8 municipalities with a total population, as of December 2009, of 249,144 inhabitants. The Danube Bridge, the only bridge over the Danube in Bulgaria as of 2010, is located in the province.

Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo

The Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo (Bulgarian: Ивановски скални църкви, Ivanovski skalni tsarkvi) are a group of monolithic churches, chapels and monasteries hewn out of solid rock and completely different from other monastery complexes in Bulgaria, located near the village of Ivanovo, 20 km south of Rousse, on the high rocky banks of the Rusenski Lom, 32 m above the river. The complex is noted for its beautiful and well-preserved medieval frescoes.

Rousse TV Tower

The Rousse TV Tower is a 204-metre high TV tower built of reinforced concrete at Rousse, Bulgaria. Originally, the structure was constructed as a 206-metre-high TV tower with a cafe/restaurant on top and was the tallest one on the Balkan peninsula until 2001. In the 1990s an additional antenna was added bringing the height to 210 metres. And, in March 2007, the antenna was reconstructed bringing its height to 204 metres. Tsar Kaloyan, Razgrad Province

Tsar Kaloyan is a town in northeastern Bulgaria, situated in Razgrad Province near the town of Razgrad. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Tsar Kaloyan Municipality. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 3,856 inhabitants. The village was named Torlak until 1934 when it was renamed Tsar Kaloyan. In 1951 it was renamed Hlebarovo. In 1991 the name was returned to Tsar Kaloyan.

Lokomotiv Stadium (Ruse)

Stadium Lokomotiv is a multi-purpose stadium in Rousse, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of PFC Ariston Rousse. The stadium holds 10,000 people.
