Cathedral of Saint Vissarion of Smolyan

The Cathedral of Saint Vissarion of Smolyan (Bulgarian: катедрален храм „Свети Висарион Смолянски“) is an Eastern Orthodox church in Smolyan, Bulgaria, inaugurated on 2 July 2006. It is the third largest church in the country, and Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral, Varna, and the largest church in southern Bulgaria. It is the first new Orthodox church in the city in the Rhodopes for 130 years.

Septemvri Stadium, Smolyan

Septemvri Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Smolyan, Bulgaria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of PFC Rodopa Smolyan. The stadium holds 6,100 people.

Uhlovitsa

Uhlovitsa is a show cave in the Blue Pools Area in the Smolyan Province of the Rhodope Mountains, southern Bulgaria. The cave is close to Mogilitsa village and 37 and 47 km away from Pamporovo and Chepelare respectively. About 3000 tourists visit the cave every year. Uhlovitsa is about 460 m long, 330 m of which are well-explored and developed. It is 1040 metres above sea level. The average temperature is about 10–11°C.
