Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo

Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (French: Aéroport international de Yaoundé-Nsimalen) is an airport serving Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. The airport is located south of Yaoundé, near Nsimalen in Cameroon's Centre Province. In 2004, the airport served 190,487 passengers.

Second Battle of Jaunde

The Second Battle of Jaunde involved the successful British and French assault on the German capital of Jaunde during the Kamerun Campaign of the First World War. After the failure of the First Battle of Jaunde during the summer of 1915, the bulk of Allied forces had retreated to the Kele river. Following the Second Duala Conference where Allied commanders discussed the situation, it was decided that another assault should be attempted.

Cameroon

Cameroon, officially the Republic of Cameroon (French: République du Cameroun), is a country in west Central Africa. Cameroon's coastline lies on the Bight of Bonny, part of the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean. The country is called "Africa in miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity.
