Lantau Channel
Lantau Channel is a channel south of Fan Lau Kok of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The channel is also on the water boundary between Hong Kong and mainland China. Across the border is the islands of Guishan Dao (桂山島), Niutou Dao (牛頭島) and Zhongxin Dao (中心島) of Wanshan Qundao. The channel is on the strategic sea route and defense structures like Fan Lau Fort was built to defense the territories.

Fan Lau
Fan Lau is a peninsula and area in the southwest tip of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is also the southwest end the territory of Hong Kong. The very end of the tip is Fan Lau Kok (分流角). The peninsula separates water into Fan Lau Tung Wan (分流東灣, lit. "East Bay") in the east, and Fan Lau Sai Wan (分流西灣, lit. "West Bay") and Fan Lau Miu Wan (分流廟灣; lit. "Temple Bay") in the west.

Peaked Hill
Peaked Hill, also known as Kai Yek Kok, is a stack island on the westernmost point on land of Hong Kong territories. The island is close to the west side of southwest Lantau Island, near Tsin Yue Wan (煎魚灣) and can be spotted from the 7th stage of Lantau Trail. The island is north of Lantau Channel and affected by the current from the Pearl River. West of the island are the territories of mainland China. The indigenous name Kai Yek Kok means Chicken Wing Point in Cantonese language.
