Soko Islands

The Soko Islands are a group of islands in Hong Kong. The group consists of Tai A Chau, Siu A Chau and several smaller nearby islands, in the southwestermost waters of the territory, to the southwest of Lantau Island. Now largely uninhabited, the islands formerly accommodated a refugee camp for Vietnamese boat people. CLP Power is currently proposing them as the site for a terminal to receive liquefied natural gas for use in electricity generation.

Yuen Kong Chau is an island of Hong Kong, under the administration of Sai Kung District. It is located in Rocky Harbour (Leung Shuen Wan Hoi 糧船灣海). The island is within the restricted area of the Basalt Island (Fo Shek Chau) Firing Range.

Shek Pik

Shek Pik is an area located along the southwestern coast of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. When the Shek Pik Reservoir was built, villages at Shek Pik were demolished and the villagers were relocated to other parts of Lantau Island and to Tsuen Wan. Below the dam of the reservoir is Shek Pik Prison.
