Gulf of Morrosquillo

The Gulf of Morrosquillo (Spanish: Golfo de Morrosquillo) is a gulf of the Caribbean Sea bounded by the Colombian Departments of Sucre and Córdoba. From West to East it runs approximately 80 kilometres from Boca de Tinajones, mouth of Sinú River, in Córdoba, to Punta San Bernardo (San Bernardo Point) in Sucre.

Tolú

Tolú is a small town and municipality in Sucre Department, northern Colombia by the Caribbean sea. The municipality has an area of 500 km². The name of Tolú comes from a tree called the Balsam of Tolú. Tolú offers ecotourism ideal for diving and rain forest treks. The fishing town has now become a popular weekend and holiday destination for Colombian tourists, particularly those from Medellín. Activities in the area include day trips to visit the Archipelago de San Bernardo.

Archipelago of San Bernardo

The Archipelago of San Bernardo is a set of 10 coastal islands belonging to Colombia, located in the Gulf of Morrosquillo in the Caribbean Sea, with an approximate area of 213.3 km² . Administratively, the archipelago belongs to the department of Sucre. It consists of the islands Boqueron, Palma, Panda, Mangle, Ceycén, Cabruna, Tintipán, Wonder and Múcura and an artificial island, Santa Cruz Islet.
