Rtina

Rtina is a village in northern Dalmatia, Croatia. The population is 473 (census 2001). Rtina belongs to Zadar County, and is located about 13 km from the Motorway No. 1, Zagreb – Split. Rtina lies on a small promontory whose northeastern side is located opposite to the Mountain of Velebit, separated from it with the southern part of the Velebit strait. It is connected by a bridge with the island of Pag at its northwestern tip.

Vir

Vir is an island on the Croatian coast of Adriatic sea with an area of 22 km located north of the city of Zadar. It is connected to the mainland via a road bridge. The only village on the island is the eponymous village of Vir, with a population of 1,608 (2001).
